Lazenby Visuals and Framing

Lazenby Visuals is a new studio/gallery in Helmsley. We offer design services, bespoke picture framing and a gallery open to the public. The gallery has a selection of varied work from local artists, from graphic illustrations, collectable framed prints and traditional landscapes. The bespoke picture framing service is open to the public, with a wide range of frames available, a same day service can sometimes be offered.

My name is Chris Lazenby and I am Lazenby Visuals. My background is in graphic design and architecture and I still work in both of those areas, from my studio in Helmsley.

Lazenby Visuals started with a drawing of Brooklyn Bridge and the New York skyline; this was for my wife’s birthday. Over time I did other designs and started to get a few commissions.

Moving forward, I now the equipment to print and frame my own work and I can offer this service to others as well. At the studio, near the Walled Gardens in Helmsley, I have an extensive range of frame and mounting samples to choose from. Depending on frame choice, a same day service can be offered for framed pieces. At the studio there is also a gallery area, showing my own work and also work from other local artists.

As I’m still a member of the local fire service, I may be called away to an emergency at any point. This may leave the studio closed for a period of time. If this causes inconvenience to anyone visiting, I do apologise. It is hoped that I could arrange to meet anyone who has missed me, back at the studio at a later time.
