Helmsley s-hop asks for help with some missing Easter rabbits

Some-bunny’s stolen some vital letters – and young detectives are needed to help find them

There’s some special visitors hiding in the Hunters of Helmsley store this Easter – and if shoppers spot them all they can win a prize.

Twelve Easter bunnies are hiding around the well-known deli, based on Helmsley’s bustling Market Place. They’ve each taken a letter from an Easter window display, which have got jumbled up around the store.

If visitors find all the bunnies and unscramble the word, they will win an Easter treat – as well as being entered into a prize draw to win a Lindt Easter goody bag.

The bunny hunt will take place from Monday 26th March to Monday 2nd April. A voluntary donation of 50p to take part will be donated to the Helmsley Open Air Swimming Pool. The pool is a charity, offering affordable outdoor swimming for the local community, and it needs to raise funds for essential maintenance and renovations.

Christine Garnett, who owns Hunters of Helmsley with husband Chris, said: “A number of cheeky Easter bunnies have stolen some of the letters from our window display, so we’re hoping some budding detectives might help us track them down. We’ll be sure to reward them for their assistance with a chocolate treat! Hopefully the missing bunnies will keep youngsters entertained for a little while, leaving parents to shop in peace – hoppy Easter all round!”
